Hi there and thank you for checking out our new blog site. My name is Sherry Bruce and I am the founder of Professor JellyBean.

I am a first time blogger but I am really excited about our plans for this site. When I was brushing up on “Blogging for Dummies”, the main message was to write what you are passionate about. Well my staff and I are passionate about children! More to the point, we are passionate about children’s health, happiness and their future on this little blue planet. I see children here in Australia and all over the world as part of one big giant community and with a bit of communication we can help, educate and support each other in many different ways.

I see this site as being a place for parents/teachers to visit and to read  with their kids. I especially want to encourage Junior Bloggers (3 to 12 years of age) to get involved  in submitting some creative written masterpieces! With the Professor JellyBean business, I have a strong moral conscience to develop this business as an environmentally friendly business. I realize what we do now will affect our children’s planet in the future. So be sure to check out the post “Greening Professor JellyBean” to see our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and to be an ethical business. Plus I hope you will give me ideas on how I can make our business more sustainable.
